Craig Forant
3rd Year
Craig Forant started his umpire career occasionally standing in when no one was available. After studying the game as a coach of Little League baseball for many years, he decided to get on the other side of the plate and get his numbers. When Craig steps on the field, you can see he takes his job seriously. He studies the fundamentals of the game on a regular basis always hoping to learn something new. Craig prides himself on proper mechanics, making sure he is never caught out of position.

Now as the new UIC of Dunedin LL, he plans on improving their umpire program even further adding new crewmembers and more training.

In 2001 after successfully completing all requirements he received his numbers and became a member of the District 12 umpire staff. He has officiated in all levels of baseball & softball at the district, sectional, and state levels.
