Umpire Conferences
Talking with your partner on the field and the coaches prior to a game can ensure that everyone is ont he same page when that ball gets stuck under the fence, or when a runner misses first base, or even when time runs out for a timed game. Every umpire should hold at least 3 conferences per game. A pregame conference with your umpire partner(s), a pregame conference with both Managers, and a postgame conference with your partner(s).
